We equip the Los Angeles community with the skills and confidence to respond in emergencies through CPR and AED education. Our bilingual workshops (Korean and English) are held in small groups, using mannequins and AED simulators so each participant has the chance to practice and feel prepared. By working with seniors, families, and community groups, we strive to make lifesaving skills available to everyone, no matter their background or language.
Each year, more than 350,000 people in the U.S. experience sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospitals, and about 70% happen at home. Only a small percentage of people know what to do, and survival drops by 7–10% for every minute without help. Many community members have watched CPR demonstrations in videos or classes, but without actually practicing the steps themselves, they often don’t feel confident enough to act when it matters most.
Simple actions can make a real difference. Starting CPR right away and using an AED, which gives clear voice instructions, can greatly improve the chance of survival. With the right opportunity to practice, anyone can feel ready to step in and help during an emergency.
Our workshops provide hands-on practice with real mannequins and AED simulators in small groups of 3–4, so every participant can build confidence through experience.
